Territory

The Mas dei Masi stands in the center of the Val di Fiemme, one of the main valleys in the Dolomites which extends along the Avisio stream, between the Lagorai and Latemar mountains.
The valley runs from east to west and is therefore very sunny. In the 12th century, the link between the population and the territory gave rise to a particular form of self-government, the "Magnificent Community of the Val di Fiemme", which still today administers the forest heritage of the valley, including the forest of Paneveggio, a real natural forest monument, given its size and fauna richness.
